Designed user experience and interface for menu and onboarding features.
-
Developed 3D realistic UI components for seamless integration with Magic Leap.
-
Created comprehensive UI documentation for project delivery.
-
Assisted in structuring the user research plan and conducting user testing.
-
Co-developed product strategies in collaboration with the project manager and UX designer.
Ineffective communication between the show creator and the tech team
The show creator and the tech team faced challenges in aligning their vision and technical language when working together to create a show. This led to a delay in the production process.
Lack of visual aids in helping the show creator in creating a digital production show
During rehearsals, the show creator heavily depended on the tech team for visualizing changes, which led to a prolonged and unproductive workflow.
Integrated Magic Leap
Magic Leap was a mixed-reality tool that combined visuals with real-world and virtual elements. We used the tool alongside our digital solutions to assist show creators in streamlining virtual production processes.

invested in improving the existing system
The current communication system between the tech team and the show creator was inefficient, requiring numerous back-and-forth conversations to make small changes. By removing these repetitive steps and introducing direct visual communication via Magic Leap, workflow efficiency was significantly improved.

Provided Templates to enhance the communication
The availability of preset scenes for show creators to choose from and customize during the show's development helps the production team to better understand and realize the creator's artistic vision.

Offered simple interactions to modify the show objects with visual aids
Offered drag-and-drop interaction controlled by the Magic Leap controller, allowing the show creator to test changes without pulling resources from the tech team.

Streamlined objects-modifying process
The transformation menu enabled the show creator to make changes to scene objects, improving and streamlining the development process.
The transformation menu appeared with a click action hover on the controller within the user’s peripheral view.

The transformative features, including movement, scaling, and rotation, enabled show creators to promptly convey their ideas to the technical team.
